I know what you’re saying: “RRoy, I’d love to do something to support autism awareness and your son’s program but I don’t want to have to run. Or walk. Or be chased by zombies. Or have paint thrown on me.”
“All I want to do is rock.”
Four hard-working, hard-rocking bands will be putting on a concert Saturday night at The Firebird, 2706 Olive, St. Louis. Yes, I know the poster says 2703 Olive but their website says 2706. Either way, it’s in the 2700 block of Olive.
Doors open at 7 p.m., the show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets are $10 in advance or $13 at the door. Proceeds benefit The Center for Autism Education. So get your tickets at the door. Hey, it’s only 3 extra bucks and it’s for a good cause.
Performing in the show will be Dirty Silver from Nashville and three St. Louis bands — Love Kingsford, Reigning Heir and StillLine. I don’t know anything about the bands or the venue, but they’re doing a good thing here so they must be awesome.
