Dwayne McDuffie died today, he was 49 years old. McDuffie worked in comics and animation. He co-founded Milestone Media, whose character Static had a decent run as a Saturday morning cartoon. He was a key player in the “Justice League Unlimited” show.
He was also the rare comic book talent who could talk on the internet and not come off as a buffoon or a jerk. He will be missed.
